Time to test my marathon training fitness once again by challenging my mile PB at the monthly Ealing Mile. On my only previous Ealing Mile outing I managed to lock myself out of the house, which meant a dash to visit The Son at school so I could get his set of keys, a quick mile and then back home to make a conference call. This time I managed to bring my keys and get to Lammas Park with plenty of time for a warm up.
I smashed my PB and feel that the marathon training is increasing my fitness and decreasing my weight. Now it’s time to get my parkrun 5km time back down again.
